Most of our remedies come from the West African countries of Burkina Faso, Benin, Côte d’ivoire, Ghana and Togo. Plant products are grown in the indigenous agricultural traditions of Meritah (Africa), without the use of chemicals and pesticides and are rotated regularly to preserve soil content. Many of the herbs are very rare in the modern world (most of the remedies we have don't even have Latin names) and are harvested in the deep bush of the aforementioned Sub Saharan regions of Western Meritah. Those who harvest and prepare the remedies are respected indigenous healers who understand our philosophy and policies, and are compensated fairly for their contributions.

We encourage people to measure their blood pressure and cholesterol levels before taking Ninika/Souley and then after completing their dose or several doses. To check if the digestive cleanser is working one can simply observe the content coming from their bowel movements. Not generally, but some people may experience headaches or nausea from their body adjusting to the remedies, but there are no side-effects that damage other organs, such as many pharmaceuticals do. These remedies come naturally from the soil and are meant to re-balance the body.

There are several types of blood, liver, kidney and digestive cleansers that you can find locally, but Ankhkasta is currently the only organization that supplies Ninika, Souley, and most other herbs on our site. There are herbal supplements that claim to have the same effects but do not have the history of traditional healing that Ankhkasta herbs have, so the potency is different. Not only are the herbs Ankhkasta provide rare and exclusive, but the non-material elements, prayers and training knowledge that goes into preparing the herbs is an additional factor. 

If you are taking an herb to prevent or solve an issue, then you should avoid eating the foods that exacerbate that issue. For example, the Ninika, Souley and digestive cleanser remedies are meant to remove salt, sugar, oils, etc. from the bloodstream and excess/stagnant food from the digestive tract, so we recommend decreasing or avoiding salt, sugar, oils, and also a heavy meat intake. If you receive a health consultation, then your healer will provide you with a diet to follow.

There is more to a human being than just the material aspect. A spiritual reading gives the client a glimpse into the general issues that may be unseen to the client in the non-material realm. From the African perspective amongst the professional indigenous community, there is a very high standard and expectation to be considered a "priest". Respected African priests come from families which specialize, generation after generation, in being an intermediary between the seen and unseen worlds. This includes being prepared morally, spiritually, and physically from a young age through ceremonies, education, initiation and apprenticeship to be able to serve people properly. Psychics may be born with the same predispositions that a priest is born with, but may not have had the training and preparation which the indigenous traditions provide their young priests. A consultation is an in person physical examination which assesses your physical and erergetic well being and comes with recommendations and take away action items. A coaching session can be done virtually and provides health and wellness advice as a coaching guide. 

Holistic health consultations are non-invasive, but do require in-person contact with the healer. Healers will assess the bodily systems using traditional techniques, which include physical touch. They may offer lifestyle advice and education about traditional perspectives on health, as well as herbs and teas which would be used to restore balance in a traditional African setting. It is important to understand that, ultimately, you are the one who has the ability to heal yourself through a change in your behavior.
